Ricky Stenhouse Jr. A Slight Wildcard At Sonoma
2 years agoRicky Stenhouse Jr. enjoyed a nice qualifying run on Saturday. He wound up 13th and not too far off from the top qualifiers at that. The one concern was some of the later turns on his lap where he lost a few tenths of a second. What does that translate into when it comes to longer runs? The JTG Daugherty Racing driver did run well most of last year until problems arose. He was ninth after each of the first two stages but dropped to 25th. His No. 47 Chevy could have a little late-run speed too. The question is how does that offset the tightness in the final turns of his lap.
