Ricky Seals-Jones Signs With Washington
4 years agoVeteran tight end Ricky Seals-Jones signed an undisclosed deal with the Washington Football Team on Tuesday, according to a source. Seals-Jones will join a tight end group in D.C. that includes Logan Thomas, Temarrick Hemingway, John Bates, Deon Yelder, Tyrone Swoopes and Sammis Reyes. The 26-year-old played in just two games with the Kansas City Chiefs last year, failing to haul in his only target. Seals-Jones began his career with the Arizona Cardinals in 2017 and spent his first two seasons in the NFL with them, catching 46 passes on 97 targets for 544 yards and four touchdowns in 25 games (six starts). He will provide some veteran depth in a crowded tight end room, but Seals-Jones won't be a lock to make the team's final roster out of training camp.
