Rhys Hoskins Getting a Breather on Wednesday
Rhys Hoskins is taking the day off for Wednesday's series finale against the visiting Boston Red Sox. Jake Bauers will man first base and bat eighth against Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello. Hoskins has hit the ball well in 2025, but he's struggled a bit of late, going 3-for-20 with two RBI, a run, three walks and 10 strikeouts in his last six games. It's a good time for the 32-year-old veteran to take a day off after starting in each of the team's last 32 games. Overall, he's hitting .282 (48-for-170) with seven long balls, 29 RBI, 18 runs scored and two stolen bases for the Brew Crew. Bauers won't have a ton of DFS upside near the bottom of Milwaukee's lineup against Bello, who he has hit .125 against in just eight career at-bats. Bauers has hit a modest .247/.341/.416 on the season with a .756 OPS.
