Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin (neck) won't play Thursday against Philadelphia. He exited Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Lightning with a neck problem and needs more time to be evaluated. Sandin has played a big part for Toronto in recent weeks, and it's been a good campaign for him overall with 14 points, 33 shots, 74 hits and 38 blocks recorded with a plus-seven rating in 33 games. Jordie Benn is set to take over from Sandin on the second defensive pairing. Following Thursday's action, the team heads into the holiday break, so it's possible Sandin will miss only one game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
