Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Rasmus Sandin has finally signed a contract for the upcoming NHL season, inking a two-year, $2.8 million deal. Sadin has missed the start of training camp because of the contract standoff, but he's now set to join the team and will travel to Toronto from his native Sweden on Friday. The 22-year-old will be hopeful of locking down a top-four spot on the Toronto blue line this season. He's notched 28 points in 88 career games but should become more productive with regular top-four minutes. Sandin could find himself in a very big role at the start of the season, as the Maple Leafs have suffered a number of injuries at the back.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
