Rashaad Penny Out, Dee Eskridge Doubtful
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny (calf) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers, while rookie wide receiver Dee Eskridge (concussion) is listed as doubtful. Penny suffered his injury in the season opener and hasn't played since. Given Seattle's depth at the position, he doesn't need to be stashed in 12- and 14-team leagues. Eskridge suffered a concussion in his first NFL game and has been out since, although he did get in a limited practice session on Thursday. It sounds as if he's making some progress, but it'll probably be another week until he's ready to return to the field. If Tyler Lockett (hip) cannot play in Week 4, Freddie Swain and Penny Hart could round out three-receiver sets with D.K. Metcalf.
