Ranger Suarez To Start On Sunday
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez (hamstring) is officially lined up to return from the 15-day injured list and start on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Phillies didn't send Suarez on a minor-league rehab assignment, so the 28-year-old southpaw could be a bit limited with his pitch count in his return this weekend and therefore will make for a pretty shaky fantasy streaming option against one of the hottest teams in baseball right now. Suarez hasn't made a start since Aug. 13. Even though Suarez won't be that great of a fantasy play in his first start back, he still has value in mixed leagues the rest of the way in 2023. He's returning to a 3.88 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 89 strikeouts in 97 1/3 innings over his 17 starts this year.
