Randall Cobb To Miss Some Time
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) avoided a serious injury in the Week 6 loss to the New York Jets, but he is still going to be out for a while. Cobb will go on Injured Reserve and will miss at least the next four weeks of action. The good news is LaFleur is hopeful that Sammy Watkins (hamstring), who is on Injured Reserve, can begin practicing this week. Cobb caught his only target for an eight-yard gain on Sunday and has 18 catches (26 targets) for 257 yards and no touchdowns this year in six games. With rookie Christian Watson (hamstring) potentially missing more time, Juwann Winfree and Amari Rodgers will be in line for more targets behind Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs moving forward.
