Randall Cobb Could Return In Week 11
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) could be activated from Injured Reserve this week and play on Thursday Night Football against the Tennessee Titans. The Packers are listing Cobb as day-to-day right now. Cobb was put on Injured Reserve on Oct. 22 and was expected to return in two to six weeks, but it sounds as though he's making pretty good progress. It would be a bit of a surprise for the 32-year-old veteran to return on a short week, and if Cobb is active, he'll almost certainly be on a limited snap count. Even in a thin receiving corps, Cobb wasn't all that attractive in fantasy before his injury, catching 18 of 26 targets for 257 yards and no touchdowns in six games (one start). The emergence of rookie Christian Watson (three TDs in Week 10) could limit Cobb's role when he returns.
