2 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams designated rookie running back Kyren Williams (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The Rams now have 21 days to officially activate Williams from IR after he suffered a high-ankle sprain in the season opener on his first NFL snap. Fantasy managers should stash the 22-year-old fifth-rounder right now if they have the roster space, as Williams could take on a significant role in LA's backfield alongside Darrell Henderson Jr. once he's healthy enough to return. The Rams also still have Cam Akers, but he has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff and is a trade chip ahead of next Tuesday's deadline.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
