Raheem Mostert Ruled Out For Week 10
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) was hoping to return in Week 10 against the Saints, but head coach Kyle Shanahan has already ruled the running back out for this weekend. The Niners have a bye in Week 11, so there's a much better chance that Mostert will resurface in Week 12 against the division-rival Rams. Tevin Coleman (knee) is also likely to miss another game this weekend, so it should once again be Jerick McKinnon and rookie JaMycal Hasty sharing backfield touches against New Orleans. Mostert needs to remain stashed in all formats, as he should be the leading ball-carrier when he's fully healthy. McKinnon and Hasty have shared lead-back duties each of the last two weeks, with neither running back particularly standing out for fantasy purposes. They'll both be boom/bust RB3/flex options in PPR leagues.
