San Jose Sharks defenseman Radim Simek (lower body) suffered an injury during a preseason game in late September and is questionable to play in the Sharks season opener. Simek hasn't started skating again, making it unlikely that he'll be in the lineup versus the Golden Knights next Thursday. The 31-year-old played 44 regular season games for the Sharks last year, registering one goal and two assists.
