Si Woo Kim has gotten off to a great start from tee to green, as he improved his 1.7 strokes gained from tee to green at The Sentry to an impressive 6.3 at last week's Sony Open. However, a combined minus-3.7 strokes putting left him outside the top 20 in both events. The putting woes plagued Kim to end 2023, but so had his approach numbers, so ultimately it's good to see his irons back on track. That being said, it will be hard to back the 28-year-old seriously until he shows signs of getting his flat stick back in the positive direction. Once that happens, the South Korean will have as much upside as any golfer, indicated by his three top-five finishes last season.--Tommy Bell
