Predators Acquire Anthony Beauvillier From Blackhawks
9 months agoThe Nashville Predators have acquired forward Anthony Beauvillier from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round draft pick. The middle-six forward was traded by the Islanders to the Vancouver Canucks prior to the 2023 trade deadline as part of a package for Bo Horvat before landing with the Blackhawks from the Canucks in exchange for a conditional 2024 fifth-round pick in November. After putting forth solid production for the Islanders in parts of eight seasons, the 26-year-old's production has dipped as he posted two goals and eight points with Vancouver in 22 games this season before recording two goals and six points in another 23 games with the Blackhawks. The Predators currently occupy the second and final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference, six points up on the St. Louis Blues.
