Pierre Strong Jr. Plays Just Three Snaps In Week 2
2 years agoNew England Patriots rookie running back Pierre Strong Jr. played just three offensive snaps in his NFL debut in the Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Rhamondre Stevenson led the backfield with 42 snaps, while Damien Harris saw only 27 offensive snaps. Strong didn't have a single carry and wasn't targeted at all through the air on his three snaps, but he did return two kickoffs for 48 yards against Pittsburgh. The 23-year-old fourth-rounder should continue to be active on game days with Ty Montgomery (knee) on Injured Reserve, but it's highly unlikely he'll be on the field enough to warrant fantasy consideration in single-year leagues unless one of Stevenson or Harris get injured.
