4 years agoDenver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay (foot) is officially active for Week 9 against the Falcons. This was expected all along, but now it's official. It's not what Melvin Gordon III's fantasy owners wanted to hear, since Lindsay and Gordon should once again have a near-even split of the backfield workload on Sunday. Lindsay has been outperforming Gordon on the ground the last two weeks and had a long rushing score against the Chargers in Week 8. Gordon has been the go-to back in the passing game, though, giving him low-end RB2/high-end RB3 appeal in point-per-reception leagues, especially since the Falcons have been really vulnerable to pass-catching running backs in 2020. Lindsay is a high-end RB3/flex that is gaining momentum in this Denver backfield.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
