Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek allowed two goals on 25 shots in Friday's 5-2 victory against the Vegas Golden Knights. He made some huge saves in the third period when the game still hung in the balance, and one of the goals he allowed earlier in the game was a power-play blast from defenseman Shea Theodore. He improved to 11-10-3 with a 2.77 goals-against average and .895 save percentage. Mrazek did a good job after the long layoff due to the All-Star break. He continues to hold down the fort with Curtis McElhinney (knee) missing a fifth straight game with a knee ailment.--Daniel Dobish
