Peter Lambert Bounces Back From Bad Outing
5 years agoColorado Rockies rookie starting pitcher Peter Lambert was rocked last week by the Padres, but he kept his cool and held the division-leading Dodgers to just three runs in five innings on Saturday. Lambert didn't end up taking the decision in the game, but anyone escaping from LA with that kind of outing can feel okay about it. Lambert only struck out one, but he also only walked one. Lambert has also been quite the hitter so far, knocking two singles against the Dodgers to raise his overall batting average in the majors to a ridiculous .625. Unfortunately, another date with the Dodgers in Denver is next on his schedule, and owners should sit him for that one.
