7 months agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Peter Bourjos is earning a spot on the Opening Day roster, slashing .304/.347/.609 with one triple, three doubles, three home runs and 10 runs batted in through 46 exhibition at-bats. The formerly highly-touted speedster has bounced around the league the past several seasons and is looking to earn a role in the Angels outfield rotation. With outfielder Justin Upton nursing a knee injury throughout spring training, Bourjos could see some run early on in the regular season. His fantastic spring numbers, however, are unlikely to sustain themselves over a long season despite Bourjos carving out a reserve role on the team. Bourjos is not fantasy relevant at this time.--Joey C - RotoBaller
