1 month agoNashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne saved 40 of 42 shots on Monday, helping the team beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 in Game 3 of the first-round series. With his 45th career playoff win, Rinne tied Tony Esposito for 24th place on the NHL's all-time list. Filip Forsberg, Mikael Granlund and Rocco Grimaldi scored the goals for Nashville. The latter has now scored in back-to-back games. Rinne is off to a strong start in the postseason. It's been a very tight series so far and he's given his team a chance to win in every game, producing a 1.98 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
