1 year agoEven though he wasn't thrilled with his overall performance, Payton Talbott earned the first submission win of his MMA career on Saturday. His opponent, Nick Aguirre, took Talbott down in the first round and held him down for an entire round. In the second round, Talbott turned the tables and controlled the position until the round ended. Then in the final round, Talbott hurt Aguirre with a kick, got mount position, and locked in a rear-naked choke. In 10:58 of action, Talbott landed 28 significant strikes.
