The New England Patriots signed defensive lineman Jeremiah Pharms Jr. to an undisclosed two-year contract extension on Monday. Pharms gets rewarded after collecting 33 tackles (16 solo), two sacks, four tackles for loss and five QB hits in 16 games (five starts) for the Patriots in his second year in the league. The 28-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Delta College was more involved on the interior of the Patriots' offensive line late in the season. He had just nine tackles (four solo) and a fumble recovery in 12 games (no starts) for New England in his rookie season in 2023. Expect Pharms to return to a rotational role at defensive tackle for the Pats in 2025.--Keith Hernandez
