Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine picked up the primary assist on Kyle Connor's second-period goal in Friday's shootout loss to Buffalo. The assist gives Laine three assists on the season, and only three points at even strength so far. He does have 11 points in 18 games, including seven power-play goals, but it has been a slow start compared to his typical production. Despite putting shots on net at a higher pace (3.82 shots per game) than either of his first two seasons, he is averaging a career-low 0.61 points per game through 18 games. It may take some time for Laine to get back into his groove, but in the meantime, he has been able to keep his fantasy value afloat by continuing to be one of the league's most dangerous shooters on the power play.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
