Patrick Queen Is A Trade Candidate
2 years agoBaltimore Ravens linebacker Patrick Queen, who didn't have his fifth-year option picked up by the deadline on Monday, is a trade candidate this offseason. Queen was a disappointment his first two years in the NFL after Baltimore took him 28th overall in 2020. But last year he rebounded with career-highs in tackles (117), solo tackles (79), sacks (five) and interceptions (two) while also recording nine tackles for loss, 14 QB hits, six passes defensed, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 17 starts. The 23-year-old has also started every game in the last three seasons, so if he has another good year for Baltimore in 2023, he could stick around beyond this year. If Queen moves on, this year's third-rounder Trenton Simpson could eventually be Queen's replacement.
