Winnipeg Jets right-winger Patrick Laine deposited a power-play goal late in the third period of his team's 5-2 loss to the Dallas Stars on Monday. With the marker, Laine ended a 12-game drought without registering a goal, a span in which he fired 24 shots on net. It's been a surprisingly down season for the 20-year-old sniper as he's had to endure multiple cold streaks (including a 15-game goal drought earlier this year) and has managed to post just 50 points (30 goals, 20 assists) in 76 contests thus far. Taken as a first-round pick (7.7 ADP in Yahoo! leagues) in most fantasy drafts this past fall, Laine will need to get hot immediately to appease his fantasy owners for such a limited return on their investment.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
