1 year agoThe San Francisco Giants activated rookie catcher Patrick Bailey from the concussion injured list on Wednesday and optioned catcher Joey Bart to Triple-A Sacramento in a corresponding move. Bailey is immediately back behind the plate and is batting sixth in the order on Wednesday against the visiting Cleveland Guardians and left-hander Logan Allen. The Giants will get the 24-year-old back as they attempt to secure the final wild-card spot in the National League down the stretch. In his first year in the big leagues in 2023, Bailey has hit .248/.304/.390 with seven home runs, 17 doubles, a triple, 45 RBI and 26 runs scored in 84 games. He will operate as San Fran's starting catcher the rest of the way.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
