Pat Freiermuth Upgraded To Full Practice Participant
1 year agoAfter being listed as limited in Thursday's practice, Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth (chest) was able to put in a full practice on Friday. Freiermuth suffered a chest injury in the Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but it doesn't appear to be very serious and he should be available to play in Week 2 on Monday night against the division-rival Cleveland Browns. The 24-year-old caught just one of his four targets in the season opener, but his one reception went for a three-yard touchdown. With Diontae Johnson (hamstring) expected to miss multiple weeks, Freiermuth should have better games in the coming weeks and be viable as a low-end TE1 for fantasy managers.
