Parris Campbell Back At Training Camp Practice
1 year agoNew York Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell (knee) is back at training camp practice on Friday after a rest day on Thursday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. Campbell is dealing with knee tendinitis, but obviously it's not a very serious issue at training camp. Before the injury, the 26-year-old had been one of the most targeted pass-catchers for the Giants, along with new tight end Darren Waller. If he's healthy when the regular season begins -- he's had his share of injuries in his career -- Campbell figures to have a starting role in the team's three-receiver sets. There are suddenly plenty of mouths to feed in New York's offense, though, so Campbell is going to have to prove it to most fantasy managers before they consider snatching him up off the waiver wire early in the 2023 season.
