2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (ankle) will suit up for Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. He tweaked his right ankle during Monday's game, but played 34 minutes in that one. It sounds like a minor issue and Murray is going to play through it. Murray said he'll play on Wednesday, but the Nuggets might decide to rest him since Wednesday is their last game before the All-Star break. Fantasy owners should check back on Wednesday to see if anything changes.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: T.J. McBride

2 weeks agoSan Antonio Spurs forward DeMar DeRozan (back) is uncertain to play in Tuesday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to head coach Gregg Popovich. DeRozan was unable to play in Monday's game due to back spasms. This is the last game before the All-Star break for San Antonio. They might take the cautious approach and let DeRozan sit this one out to rest. Lonnie Walker IV would likely slide into the starting five if DeRozan is unable to play. Fantasy owners should check back closer to tip-off.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: John Diaz

2 weeks agoBoston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (ankle) is expected to suit up for Tuesday's game against the Houston Rockets. Brown was battling a right ankle sprain last week and then rolled his ankle during Sunday's game. He's listed as probable on the injury report, but Brown said he's going to play here. Fantasy owners should feel safe about plugging Brown into their lineups for Tuesday's slate.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Adam Himmelsbach

2 weeks agoSacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (shoulder) received a platelet-rich plasma injection on Monday to treat his labral tear in his right shoulder joint. The Kings announced that Holmes will be re-evaluated in two or three weeks. He's early been out since early January, but with the All-Star break looming this isn't a huge blow to fantasy owners. Nemanja Bjelica has benefited the most in the absence of Holmes, so he'll continue to see more action until Holmes returns.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Sacramento Kings

2 weeks agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Dejounte Murray flirted with a triple-double in a second consecutive game on Monday, finishing a 127-120 loss to Denver with 14 points, nine assists and six rebounds. He shot 5-for-11 from the field and 3-for-3 at the line, while also picking up one steal. Murray was very disappointing in the first few games of the month, but he's upped his productivity lately and he can demonstrate it again on Tuesday against OKC. Murray put together one of his best games of the season against the Thunder on Nov. 8 with a 17-8-10 line, but overall it isn't a good matchup for point guards, with the seven-time All-Defensive First Teamer Chris Paul at the head of OKC's backcourt.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoSan Antonio Spurs forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge scored a game-high 33 points on 13-for-25 shooting in Monday's loss to Denver, adding six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 35 minutes of action. Aldridge managed to take 20-plus shots for just the fourth time in 2020 after DeMar DeRozan (back) was a late scratch. He was feeling it all night and even shot 4-for-8 from three-point range. Aldridge has been in very inconsistent form during the team's current road trip, which will have its sixth stop on Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The 34-year-old veteran has been hot in previous games against the Thunder this season, scoring 39 points in the first meeting of the year and registering a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double in the second matchup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward/center Paul Millsap played a big part in Monday's 127-120 victory over San Antonio, scoring 22 points in just 19 minutes off the bench. He made a team-high four triples and shot 8-for-13 overall, adding seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block. It was a spectacular performance from the veteran who turned 35 on Monday. Millsap is back from a knee injury, which kept him out of action for a month, and he's done good work in limited minutes, averaging 17 points, nine rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He'll face a Lakers side next against whom Millsap has put together a pair of 21-point games this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was close to another triple-double on Monday, finishing a 127-120 win over the Spurs with 19 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds. He shot 6-for-8 from the field and 7-for-8 at the line, adding one block on the defensive end. It was a tough night for Jokic, as he battled foul trouble and had five turnovers, but the Joker still found a way to deliver a good fantasy line. He'll face the Lakers next in a matchup that hasn't suited him very well this season. Jokic has averaged only 15.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 5.5 rebounds in two games against LeBron James's team this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray scored a team-high 26 points in Monday's 127-120 win over San Antonio, shooting 11-for-21 from the field and 2-for-8 from downtown. Denver came back from a 27-point deficit, and Murray was huge in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of the team's 38 points. He added six assists, two rebounds, and one steal. Murray has come back strong from an ankle problem, averaging 28.3 points and 5.3 assists in four games, shooting 48 percent from behind the arc. He should be extremely confident ahead of Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers. Murray has had mixed performances against the Lakers this season, as he scored 22 points in the first meeting of the season, but then settled for just six points in the second game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Kristaps Porzingis continued his excellent play as of late when he scored 28 points on 7-for-17 shooting in the loss to the Jazz on Monday. Porzingis also connected on 11 of 13 at the line and added five rebounds with a steal and a block in 35 minutes of action. It has been nice to see the Zinger stepping up in the absence of Luka Doncic (ankle) as he has tallied at least 28 points in four of his last five games. Doncic is expected back on Wednesday, but this should not affect Porzingis' output too much.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoDallas Mavericks shooting guard/small forward Tim Hardaway Jr. had the hot hand on Monday, but his 33 points were not enough in the four-point loss to the Jazz. Hardaway connected on 12 of 18 shooting overall and that included five makes from three, to go along with three rebounds, three assists and steal in his 37 minutes of action. Hardaway has been rolling with Luka Doncic (ankle) out and over his last four games is providing 20.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 steals in that span. This production will obviously take a hit when Mr. Doncic gets back on the court, which could be as early as the Mavs' next game.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell connected on eight of 12 from the floor to record his efficient 23 points in the 123-119 victory over the Mavericks on Monday. Mitchell also connected on three of six from downtown while grabbing four rebounds with two assists across 35 minutes of action. Mitchell has connected on 50% of his shots, just two times in his last seven games (including this one), so this efficient night was a positive for owners. He has not quite taken the extra step owners had hoped for this season, but he has been known to turn things up in the season's final stretch, so owners can hope for this, post-All-Star break.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoUtah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson kept things going on Monday and this time, it was against Dallas in the 123-119 victory. Clarkson drilled 10 of 17 from the floor, en route to 25 points and he did not stop there, as he provided a season-high eight assists to go along with five rebounds and a block with four makes from three in 31 minutes off the bench. Mike Conley (rest) did have the night off, hence the extra usage for Clarkson, but he is proving to be worth owning in all 12-team leagues with his ability to get hot, like he has over the last two games.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoUtah Jazz center Rudy Gobert continued to steamroll on Monday and this time, it was against the Dallas Mavericks, in the four-point win. Gobert, on this night, connected on all seven of his attempts from the floor, en route to 17 points and he also grabbed 16 rebounds with a block in 36 minutes of action. That was his 41st double-double of the season and he had a mean, turnaround, drop-step dunk, all over the head of Kristaps Porzingis in the dying moments to help seal the deal. Gobert has been one of the more consistent players this season and is poised for early-round value the rest for the way.--Gianni Costantiello - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

2 weeks agoGolden State Warriors forward Marquese Chriss just missed out on a double-double for the second straight game in a 113-101 loss to the Miami Heat on Monday. The 2016 draft pick's final line was 17 points, nine rebounds, two steals, and one block in 27 minutes while also tying his season-high with nine free-throw attempts and making seven of them. After taking more than 10 shots in only four of his first 44 games this season, Chriss now has 10-plus field goal attempts in four of his last five games and is averaging 14.8 points on 58.8 percent shooting in those five February games. The fourth-year forward will hope to finish off the first half of the season with another strong performance against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night.--Euan Leith - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
