Miami Marlins infield prospect Andrew Salas went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases during their contest against Low-A Fort Myers on Wednesday. This was Salas' second time swiping three bags in a single contest this season. Over his last 13 contests, the 17-year-old has posted an impressive .327/.444/.327 line with a 14:11 K:BB and nine stolen bases. Through his first 26 games at the Low-A level, Salas has been able to hold his own, posting a .304/.538/.337 line with a 26:26 K:BB and 14 stolen bases. Given the 17-year-old's strong eye at the plate and elite speed upside, he should be in the mix to join High-A in the coming weeks. He is currently ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the Miami system but will likely continue climbing prospect boards this season.

Athletics left-handed pitching prospect
Gage Jump tossed six shutout innings of work on Wednesday evening against Double-A San Antonio. This was his Double-A debut. In this outing, Jump allowed just five hits and one walk. He struck out six batters. Since posting a high 6.35 ERA and a 1.39 WHIP across his first 11 1/3 innings of work this season, the southpaw has flipped the script. Over his last 25 2/3 innings of work, the LSU product has allowed just one run and one walk and struck out an impressive 34 batters. Jump joined the Athletics system in the 2024 MLB Draft. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression as he is moving quite quickly through the system. If he continues to find success at Double-A, he could be in the mix to join Triple-A in the second half of the season.

Miami Marlins catching prospect
Agustin Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run during their 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday evening. Ramirez went deep in the fourth inning against Cubs right-hander
Jameson Taillon. Over his last nine games, the young backstop has been swinging a hot bat, posting a stellar .294/.351/.588 slash line with four doubles, two home runs, and a 10:3 K:BB. Overall, the 23-year-old has looked quite comfortable through his first taste of the major leagues, holding a .260/.305/.571 line with nine doubles and five long balls across a 20-game stint. Under the hood, he has generated an impressive 51.7% hard-hit rate and a 12.1% barrel rate, which suggests his power numbers should continue to remain consistent. He should be viewed as a C1 in all formats, given his power upside.

Atlanta Braves pitching prospect
Hurston Waldrep allowed two runs on three hits and three walks across six innings against Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday. He struck out six. The 23-year-old has strung back-to-back effective outings, giving up only four runs and allowing five hits in 11 1/3 innings while striking out 16. The former Florida pitcher made his MLB debut last season and struggled with 13 runs allowed in only seven innings. The right-hander's season-long numbers in 2025 are still poor, with a 5.77 ERA and an elevated 14.7% walk rate. While the Braves have dealt with some injuries in the rotation, it appears Waldrep needs more refinement in the minor leagues before being brought back to the majors. He is currently ranked as the 2nd overall prospect in the Braves system on MLB.com.

New York Mets pitching prospect
Brandon Sproat allowed six earned runs on four hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings on Wednesday against Triple-A Lehigh Valley. He struck out four and gave up three home runs. It's been a bit of a downseason for Sproat so far, as his strikeout rate has fallen from 28.3% last season to 18.6% this season. It is still a small sample in just 28 innings, but his season-long ERA now sits at 5.85. The 24-year-old still ranks as one of the best arms in the Mets farm system and should be expected to debut sometime this summer. He would be worthy of picking up in deeper leagues as he will benefit from a pitcher-friendly home ballpark. Sproat is currently ranked as the 68th overall prospect in baseball on MLB.com.

Washington Nationals third base prospect
Brady House went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's game for Triple-A Rochester. The top prospect has gotten off to a solid start in 2025 with a slash line of .286/.346/.442 and 114 wRC+ through 38 games. House is faring better in his second stint at Triple-A as he struggled over 542 PA last season, with a 93 wRC+. He is young for the level at just 21 years old and is showing signs of improvement this season. House reduced the rate of chasing outside the zone. However, he still has issues making consistent contact. With the Nationals' third base spot seemingly wide open, House should have an opportunity to make an impact with the big league club at some point this summer, which would make him worthy of stash in most leagues. He is currently ranked as the 95th overall prospect on MLB.com.

Detroit Tigers outfielder
Parker Meadows (arm) did his base-running test on Wednesday and also threw to the bases from the outfield in modified drills, according to the Detroit Free Press' Chris McCosky. Meadows said he feels close to being ready to go on a minor-league rehab assignment. Since the 25-year-old has been out since late February with a nerve issue in his right arm, he's probably going to have to go on a lengthy rehab assignment. However, Meadows appears to be turning a corner and is worthy of consideration for a waiver-wire pickup if he's available with his return potentially coming in late May or early June. He was a difference-maker in fantasy and for Detroit in the second half in 2024 after he returned from injuries, slashing .296/.340/.500 with six homers and five steals in 47 regular-season games. At the very least, he should be in the strong side of a platoon in the outfield when he returns.

Roman Anthony went 2-for-3 with two singles and two walks in Wednesday's game against Triple-A Buffalo. The 21-year-old has gotten off to a fantastic start in 2025, slashing .306/.428/.478 and a 144 wRC+ over 37 games. Since the calendar turned to May, Anthony's power output has dipped with no home runs and just a .333 SLG. However, he also has a .400 OBP with a solid strikeout rate during this time. For the season, the phenom still has an outstanding quality of contact metrics with a 21.2% Barrel% and a 59.6% HardHit%. Anthony remains the top priority prospect stash and should be expected to be called up sometime this summer. He is currently ranked as the best prospect in baseball on MLB.com.

Updating a previous report, Seattle Mariners shortstop
J.P. Crawford (shoulder) was scratched from Wednesday's series finale against the visiting New York Yankees with shoulder tightness, according to manager Dan Wilson. Until we know more about the severity of Crawford's shoulder injury, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day. The good news is that the M's have a scheduled day off on Thursday before starting a weekend series in San Diego on Friday against the Padres. You'll want to check back then to see if Crawford is feeling good enough to play. If Crawford needs to go on the injured list, Seattle would most likely mix and match at shortstop with
Leo Rivas and
Miles Mastrobuoni. The 30-year-old's counting stats leave a lot to be desired, but he's hitting a respectable .271 (38-for-140).

Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander
Blake Snell (shoulder) threw out to 60 feet on Wednesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Snell's visit with a doctor recently went well after he had a bit more discomfort in his left shoulder over the weekend, so he was cleared to throw this week. The 32-year-old two-time Cy Young winner only made two starts with the Dodgers before landing on the injured list due to a left-shoulder injury, and he's had several setbacks along the way. L.A. isn't going to rush their free-agent acquisition back, and we probably won't have a clearer timetable for his potential return to the starting rotation until he begins throwing off a mound again. Even in a best-case scenario, fantasy managers shouldn't expect Snell to return until sometime in June. He allowed only two earned runs in his first two starts, but with eight walks and four K's in nine innings.

The Washington Nationals sent first baseman/designated hitter
Andres Chaparro (oblique) on a minor-league rehab assignment to the rookie-level Florida Complex League on Wednesday. Chaparro suffered a strained left oblique all the way back in the middle of March during spring training and is just now ready to resume playing in actual games, which means that his return probably isn't imminent. The 26-year-old could have an opportunity to see some playing time as Washington's DH against left-handed pitchers when he returns to the big leagues, potentially in late May or early June. The Venezuelan first baseman made his major-league debut in 2024 and went 26-for-121 (.215) with four home runs, 12 doubles, 15 RBI, one steal and 12 runs scored in 33 games. Fantasy managers in mixed leagues can continue ignoring him for now.

Mitchell Parker (leg) took a 107.2 mph comebacker off his left leg during his outing on Wednesday against the division-rival Atlanta Braves off the bat of third baseman
Austin Riley. Manager Dave Martinez pulled Parker with two outs and runners on second and third in the fifth inning. Parker was charged with four earned runs on four hits while walking two and striking out six in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision in the team's eventual 5-4 victory. The 25-year-old will surely undergo X-rays to see if he has any fractures or breaks in his leg, so fantasy managers will want to check back later on Wednesday or early on Thursday for an update on his condition. At the very least, Parker's next start is in jeopardy. He's now allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last four outings for the Nats.
