Packers Tender Cornerback Chandon Sullivan
4 years agoThe Green Bay Packers tendered restricted free-agent cornerback Chandon Sullivan at the right-of-first-refusal level of $2.133 million. Should another team sign Sullivan to an offer sheet and the Packers not match it, Green Bay wouldn't receive draft-pick compensation. Sullivan was signed in May of 2019 and became a quality No. 4 cornerback in his first season before transitioning to the slot role in 2020. He has played in all 32 games in the last two seasons, recording 12 pass breakups and two interceptions (one for a touchdown). The Packers also used the second-round restricted tender on tight end Robert Tonyan. Quarterback Tim Boyle, defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster, safety Raven Greene and cornerback Parry Nickerson are also restricted free agents.
