Packers Sign Second-Rounder A.J. Dillon
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers rookie running back A.J. Dillon announced on his Twitter account on Wednesday that he has signed his rookie deal with the team. The Boston College product ran for 1,685 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final year in college. Dillon finished his college career with 4,382 yards and 38 touchdowns. Green Bay curiously took Dillon in the second round of April's draft when they already have Aaron Jones, who scored a whopping 19 touchdowns in 2019. Dillon will be an interesting complement to Jones in his rookie season, but it's hard to believe he'll see enough weekly touches to be of much use in redraft leagues, especially with Jamaal Williams also in the picture. The 22-year-old also doesn't contribute much in the passing game, which could limit his long-term fantasy appeal.
