Packers Looking To Add Quarterbacks To Their Roster
4 years agoThe Green Bay Packers have started exploring quarterbacks that they can add to their roster for upcoming organized team activities and training camp, according to sources. Last year's first-rounder Jordan Love is currently the only QB on the roster other than Aaron Rodgers, who has told some in the organization that he no longer wants to play for the team. It's unknown if Rodgers will attend voluntary sessions later this month. One source said the Packers search has branched out to include veteran signal-callers. Green Bay didn't draft a quarterback last week, but general manager Brian Gutekunst said they will likely sign at least one undrafted rookie QB. While the uncertainty surrounding Rodgers is playing a part, it's not the sole impetus for the Packers trying to add depth at the position.
