Packers Interested In Re-Signing De'Vondre Campbell
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said the team is "very optimistic and hopeful" of re-signing impending free-agent linebacker De'Vondre Campbell. The 28-year-old had a career year in 2021 after signing a one-year deal with Green Bay, so it's no wonder they'd like to bring him back. Campbell had a career-high 146 tackles (102 solo), six tackles for loss, six QB hits, two interceptions, five passes defensed, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and two sacks in 16 regular season games for the Packers last year to earn first-team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career. He finished as the No. 5 fantasy linebacker in IDP leagues and will be highly coveted entering 2022 drafts in those formats, especially if he's back with the Packers.
