P.J. Washington On The Move To Dallas
10 months agoCharlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington is on his way to the Dallas Mavericks after being traded for Grant Williams, Seth Curry, and a lightly protected 2027 first-round pick. Washington has been a good asset for the Hornets but didn't quite hit as high of a ceiling as the team was hoping. Instead, he'll fill a role that perfectly suits him on a Mavericks squad that needs another outlet scorer and a bigger presence since Williams wasn't cutting it this year. In his four-and-a-half seasons with the Hornets, Washington averaged 13.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.8 made threes, and 1.5 turnovers per contest while shooting 45.0% from the floor and 35.9% from beyond the arc.
