Ozzie Albies Hitting Cleanup Against Lefty
2 years agoAtlanta Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies is starting at second base and getting the nod in the team's cleanup spot on Thursday against the Miami Marlins and left-hander Braxton Garrett. Albies is hitting .268 (26-for-97) on the year so far with two doubles, a triple, seven home runs, a league-leading 23 RBI and 12 runs scored in 25 games played. He's also gone 13-for-32 (.406) with three home runs and 10 RBI against southpaw pitchers, so it makes perfect sense why the Braves are putting him in the cleanup spot on Thursday against a left-hander. Albies is hitting .381 (8-for-21) with a double, triple, three homers and nine RBI in the last week. Keep him in your starting lineups everywhere.
