Forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau has been acquired by the New York Islanders in exchange for a 2020 first-round pick, a 2020 second-round pick, and a conditional 2022 third-round pick. Ottawa was able to cash in on Pageau's career-year and now has more pieces to aid in their rebuild. For the Islanders, Pageau gives them a solid middle-six center to help improve their 22nd ranked 2.84 goals per game rate. Sporting a career-high 17.8 percent shooting percentage, however, it is fair to question if Pageau can maintain his scoring success. Moving to a team with more talent is mostly offset by the likely reduction in usage coming from no longer playing on a team's top line, so this move should not move the needle much on Pageau's fantasy value.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
