Orlando Arcia Blasts Game-Tying Homer
Orlando Arcia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in his team's 4-3 win against the hosting Milwaukee Brewers. The Venezuelan native was held hitless through his first three at-bats in Sunday's contest, but made the most of his final trip to the dish. In the top of the ninth, Arcia stepped to the plate and deposited a hanging Trevor Megill breaking ball 386 feet over the wall in left-center field. It was his second of the season, and knotted the score at 2-2 to send the game into extras. He's been dreadful for Colorado this season, boasting a .196/.228/.299 slash line from the bottom of the order. However, a large portion of that has been against right-handed pitching (.175). The 30-year-old has hit lefties at a much better clip (.294).
