Miami Heat guard Norman Powell (ankle) won't play on Wednesday versus the Dallas Mavericks after tweaking his left ankle in Monday's win over the Los Angeles Clippers. The 32-year-old has thrived since his arrival in Miami, averaging a career-high 25.0 points while shooting 45.8% from downtown. Unfortunately, it appears there's a chance he'll miss time beyond Wednesday's contest. Without Powell in the equation, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel'el Ware could find themselves in the starting lineup, although both players should benefit offensively regardless of their roles.--Dennis Clausen
