Nolan Arenado Sitting On Sunday
6 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado (forearm) is not in the team's starting lineup on Sunday against the visiting San Francisco Giants and right-hander Logan Webb. Veteran Brandon Crawford will get the start at third base and will bat eighth against his former team. After missing a game this week already due to an elbow injury, Arenado is out of the lineup again after leaving Saturday's contest early with pain in his left forearm. Fantasy managers will want to check back on Monday to see if he's active for the series opener against the visiting Atlanta Braves. The 33-year-old veteran has been very mediocre for fantasy managers this year and is hitting .258 (17-for-66) with a homer, three triples, six RBI, a stolen base and four runs scored in 18 games in the month of June. Crawford should be avoided as a DFS sleeper in the eight-hole.
