Noah Syndergaard To Get Second Opinion On Finger
7 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been on the disabled list due to a strained ligament in his right index finger. He’s now slated to get a second opinion on the injury. Originally set to return against the New York Yankees on Sunday night after missing three starts, Syndergaard’s finger swelled up after a game of catch, so his return had to be pushed back. Hopefully, we have a better idea of what’s to come in the next day or so, but a second opinion isn’t a good thing. Chances are Seth Lugo will continue to take Thor’s rotation spot. Lugo dominated the Yankees in Syndergaard’s place and has been effective out of the bullpen all year.
