Noah Syndergaard Leaves Early With Injury
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (finger) left his start early on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers with a cut on his right index finger. Syndergaard only made it one inning in the contest before hitting the showers, allowing one hit and one walk to lower his ERA to 6.12. Until we know how serious his finger injury is, fantasy managers should consider Thor to be day-to-day. The 30-year-old right-hander hasn't bounced back the way some folks believed he would early in 2023, as he entered his start on Tuesday with a 6.32 ERA (4.75 FIP), 1.40 WHIP, four walks and 21 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings pitched over six starts. Check back on Wednesday to see if there's a chance that he'll make his next start next week against the Minnesota Twins.
