Noah Fant Will Not Practice Wednesday
5 years agoDenver Broncos rookie tight end Noah Fant (foot) will not practice on Wednesday, but his outlook is "positive overall." Fant caught all four of his targets for 113 yards and his third touchdown of the season in the surprising win over the Texans in Week 14. In his first game with quarterback Drew Lock last week against the Chargers, Fant had just one catch for five yards. Fant has been up and down in his rookie season, but his upside is no doubt much higher with Lock under center. If he plays, the rookie tight end will be an upside TE2 against the Chiefs in a game where the Broncos might be passing often. If Fant cannot get cleared, Jeff Heuerman would be the primary pass-catching tight end on Sunday against KC.
