Noah Fant Totals 12 Yards In Sunday's Win
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant caught three of his four targets for just 12 yards in the 28-13 Week 12 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Albert Okwuegbunam had 12 yards on just one catch, and third-stringer Eric Saubert vultured a one-yard touchdown pass. It was a frustrating day for all of Denver's pass-catchers with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater attempting only 18 passes with the team never trailing. The good news is that Fant tied for the team lead in catches and targets in the victory over the Bolts. The 24-year-old hasn't scored since Week 6 and just isn't being used deep enough down the field to be more than a touchdown-dependent, low-end TE1. He'll have a positive matchup in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but Bridgewater has been spreading the ball around too much in this low-volume passing attack.
