Noah Fant Has Another Mediocre Performance
3 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant had three receptions for 30 yards on four targets in the 17-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 15. Backup tight end Albert Okwuegbunam saw just two targets on Sunday and didn't catch either of them, but Fant still left plenty to be desired by his fantasy managers. Fant has seen exactly four targets in five of the last seven games, but he hasn't scored or gone over 60 receiving yards since Week 6. He's been good for a handful of catches but is averaging a career-low 9.2 yards per catch this season. There was talk before the season that the Broncos wanted to use Fant as more of a downfield threat this year, but that hasn't materialized at all. In this low-volume passing attack and low-upside offense overall, Fant has become more of a TE2 to close the season.
