Noah Fant Catches Only Three Passes In Week 9
4 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant (ankle) caught just three passes for 45 yards in the Week 9 loss to the Falcons. Fant limped off the field in the first quarter after catching a pass for 32 yards, but he managed to come back and catch two more passes in the defeat. It's the same ankle injury that caused him to miss a game earlier this year, so it will be something to monitor leading into the Week 10 divisional matchup against the Raiders. When healthy, the second-year tight end is an upside TE1 as one of quarterback Drew Lock's favorite targets. If Fant were to miss any more time, Nick Vannett would be the team's top pass-catching tight end after rookie Albert Okwuegbunam suffered a season-ending torn ACL on Sunday.
