No Restrictions For Saquon Barkley
3 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley's right knee is structurally sound after he had surgery to fix a torn ACL and meniscus, and he has played at least 84 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last three games. It's a signal that the coaching staff no longer has any reservations about his workload. With that, the big explosive plays are coming, with Barkley ripping off a 54-yard touchdown catch and an 18-yard screen pass in the Week 4 win over the New Orleans Saints. His 126 scrimmage yards were a season-high. "Every single week, I can feel my knee getting better and better, and I'm getting used to it. I just have to keep trusting the process and keep going," Barkley said. New York has a tough matchup with the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Week 5, but Barkley is firmly in the must-start RB1 conversation yet again.
