Regarding a recent report from 93.7 The Fan's Andrew Fillipponi that the Pittsburgh Steelers inquired about a trade for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, a Jaguars source said there's "no chance" they will trade Lawrence and called the idea "ridiculous," according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. The Steelers may or may not have reached out to the Jags about Lawrence, but despite an injury-plagued and disappointing season for the 25-year-old in 2024, Jacksonville plans to build around the former first overall pick under new head coach Liam Coen rather than trade him away. Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is at a crossroads at the QB position with both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields scheduled to hit free agency next month. They are expected to re-sign only one of them. With better health in 2025, Lawrence could be a rebound candidate under Coen after playing in a career-low 10 games last year.--Keith Hernandez
