6 years agoKansas City Royals prospect Nicky Lopez became the second player in history to hit for the cycle while playing for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, Kansas City's Double-A affiliate. Lopez is a shortstop prospect that is putting a fine season together as a contact hitter who is constantly getting on base, and he's probably going to be competing for a major league spot in 2019. So far this year, Lopez is hitting .332 with a .398 on-base percentage and nine stolen bases. While he's only got two home runs so far, he's racked up five triples and walks more than he strikes out.
