Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) is starting to throw simulated games at the team's spring training complex in Arizona with the intention of building up to six innings. He's already thrown five to six bullpen sessions and has been feeling good. The 28-year-old won't be an option for the Halos rotation for some time and had an ugly 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 14 starts for the Angels last season. Tropeano will be more of an AL-only rotation option whenever he's ready to join the team's rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
